Creating desire for a derelict site

In Manchester, the workshops fell silent long ago. What remains is brick, concrete, tall windows and empty floors. The project: turn them into offices. The client has only a plan and a moodboard, and one urgency: finding the first tenants before works even begin. They had to be shown what no one could see yet.

The memory of the material

Keep what the building does best, and show it. Red brick, raw concrete, tall steel-framed windows, light running through. The agency adds polished concrete, aged metal and reclaimed wood, then sets the light scene by scene, like the light that once entered the workshops. We don't show a volume, we show a way of working there.

Content that gets signatures

A winter morning on the open space, light coming through the tall windows. A meeting running long, a coffee in the break corner, someone crossing a brick corridor. Each visual tells a moment of work, not a square metre. Brochure, website, meetings: future tenants could already picture themselves there, well before the works were over

The recap.

A building let before works. The images don't show square metres, they show a way of working.
